What year was it? Alaska and Hawaii become states, Barbie makes her debut, Vince Lombardi is hired as the Green Bay Packers coach, and the business now known as SkipperBud's was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Started in 1959 by Harold "Bud" Pretasky; over 60 years later SkipperBud's is still a family business. Now owned by the Pretasky Family, SkipperBud's is headquartered in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, and has become one of the marine industry's largest sales, brokerage, service, and marina groups. In the 1980s, SkipperBud's constructed its first waterfront marina, drystack facility, and restaurant on the KK River in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. New locations in Madison Pewaukee Oshkosh, and Winthrop Harbor, Illinois soon followed. SkipperBud's signed a long term lease with the State of Illinois and invested into the North Point Marina property in the late 80s. The Madison and Oshkosh locations each featured boat sales offices and a marina as well as service for boaters

If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%.
Renters who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%.
Note : SkipperBud’s Cass Lake has a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel prior to your 48 hour notice, your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel or change past the 48 hour notice, you will not be refunded the $100 deposit.
If there are heavy rains, thunderstorms or high winds, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and will issue a deposit refund.
In the case of cooler / hot weather, cloudy etc., the renter is still responsible, as all boats will be released to go out on the water
