Visiting our marina is like taking a deep breath of fresh air. Council Grove Lake reservoir and the Marina is relatively small, situated in a rural area, and is relatively unknown in fishing and boating communities – we like to say it’s a well-kept secret. Our cove – Marina Cove – is on the west side of the dam. When you experience the lake and our Marina, you’ll find peace, quiet, uncongested boat traffic, and family-friendly fun. We are located in the heart of the Flint Hills – about 3 hours from Kansas City or Wichita.
Council Grove Marina has a state-of-the-art propane filling station – new this year. We offer boating and water toys, live bait and a small assortment of tackle and camping supplies so virtually anyone can enjoy the lake. The Marina has excellent pricing for boat repair. We also offer a small selection of boat repair items for DIYers. We provide boat, trailer and camper storage at the dry store. Rentals are always popular and ours are reasonably priced. Pontoon, paddle board and kayak rentals are offered all season long. New this year, we have a series of boat history tours planned throughout the warm months. Take a guided tour around the lake, and learn a little about the history of the reservoir.
