A wide variety of trees, flowering shrubs, and wildlife afford photographers and nature lovers many hours of enjoyment throughout the year. You can often see white-tailed deer and turkey along the shore.
Kirby Landing Marina is located in a sheltered cove up the Bear Creek branch of Lake Greeson within the US Army Corps of Engineers Kirby Landing Recreation Area, the largest and most popular recreation area on the Lake. Since its establishment, the Crump Family has owned and operated Kirby Landing Marina. In 1955, Clay K. Crump II and his young wife, Erma, relocated the original Marina from the Bear Creek Recreation Area to the Kirby Landing Recreation Area. Since 1985, Clay K. Crump III and his family have operated the Marina as a family oriented business, expanding the business through the construction of houseboat and boat/barge docks. Clay and family reside on the premises for immediate assistance at any time.
