At Big Lake Boat Rentals, we offer locals and vacationers the chance to explore the breathtaking beauty of Big Lake, Alaska, with our pontoon boats, jet skis, paddle boards, kayaks, and water tubes. Located at Burkeshore Marina, we are the only business that offers boat rental services in the area. Additionally, you can buy boat supplies, snacks or refuel at the marina for your convenience. With more than 20 years of experience in the boating industry, we have earned the trust of our customers, who in turn love us due to the quality and personable service we provide.
Many residents of Big Lake commute to work in Anchorage, 60 miles to the south, but choose to live in Big Lake for its limitless recreational opportunities, and the views of Mount Susitna, Denali (Mount McKinley), and the Talkeetna Mountains. Located on the shore of its namesake lake and sprawling over 138 sq. mi, the community of Big Lake has a population of 3,350 people, along with numerous sled dogs. This includes the champion kennel of four-time Iditarod™ Trail Sled Dog Race Champion Martin Buser.
