We are proud to be the area’s only Marine Industry Certified Dealership and Master Dealer. This award is attained when a dealership goes through a rigorous evaluation to ensure that its business practices are thorough with customer service at the forefront and customer satisfaction is second to none. Congratulations to our staff…it takes the whole crew to get to this high level of recognition. Spend-A-Day Marina began in 1950 as a small boat rental facility on Indian Lake, in Russells Point, Ohio. As the area grew so did the demand for water recreation. Bill Reed, the owner of Spend-A-Day Marina, saw the potential for the resort destination and expanded the rental business to include selling and servicing Evinrude outboard motors. In 1953 a larger building was constructed to accommodate the increased traffic and another expansion began in 1959. The old building was reconstructed on the new site and now serves as the core of our current service department. Since those early summers 68 years ago, Spend-A-Day Marina has constantly expanded, upgraded and matured to become a state-of-the art marine facility covering more than 10 Acres. Most recently we reconstructed our service office and parts area to offer faster, more comfortable customer access. We know a great time on the water translates into great customer service and at Spend-A-Day that starts with our 11,000 square foot service department, where our service technicians attend annual certification classes to keep up with the ever changing market place. Within the service department is our well-stocked parts department and computer based parts applications where we can find what you need in a hurry. We also have 40,000 square feet of indoor storage, 6 sets of heavy-duty hoists, 3 boat ramps, and 100 boat slips. All through the years, all you gotta do has become a familiar catch phrase among our entire staff. With a wide selection of specialty tools to complete any service and installation task, we take a can do approach to most any request. Along with our service department we are proud to also invite you to our 11,100 square foot showroom featuring the finest brands in the industry. You’ll appreciate our long-term approach to product selection, as we have been a Sea Ray dealer since 1960. We continuously seek out the industry winners like Sea Ray boats, JC pontoons, Bennington pontoons, Yamaha Watercraft, and Honda, Yamaha, and Mercury Outboard motors to provide our customers with the best boating available. We also have a large accessory department with a full variety of all the latest water toys, wakeboards, and boating necessities. If you are a recreational boater and enjoy quality products, you’ll love what we have to offer. Of course we still have a full rental department operating under the U-DRIVE-IT philosophy. With a fleet never more than 3 years old consisting of Sea Ray Runabouts, JC Pontoons and Honda Outboard motors, in addition to fishing boats, we are sure your experience with us will be the most pleasant you have encountered. We may have grown over the past 56 years but we continue to focus on the mission of our family owned and operated business.
