Lake Ouachita Shores is one of the most beautifully located resorts on Lake Ouachita (Wash-i-ta) and is surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest. It is one of the cleanest lakes in the nation, over 30 miles long, and has a surface area of 40,000 acres. Excellent for fishing (many varieties), swimming, boating, diving, hiking and relaxing. We are only 25 miles (30 min.) from Hot Springs on Hwy 270 West and just 10 min. from Mount Ida, the "Quartz Crystal Capitol of the World."
