If you have a boat in the China Peak Landing marina we have spoken with SCE and they will not be lowering the lake level without notifying us, and even then will provide an adequate window for boats to be removed. They are not generating power at this time, and when they do start up they have water stored at upper lakes to handle their needs for a short period Huntington Lake is a popular year-round vacation destination and is used as a jumping off point for other Kaiser Wilderness adventures. The China Peak Landing is owned and operated by China Peak Mountain Resort. The China Peak Landing features a general store with fishing gear, ice cream, beer, wine, chips, clothing, hats, sandwiches and more! Rent kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards starting at just $20 an hour. Fishing boats and patio boats are available for all day, half day or by the hour. Slip and mooring rentals, fuel for boats and vehicles as well as an upscale rental chalet (pictured to the left) are other amenities.
