Seneca Lake Park is located in Guernsey and Noble counties, near Cambridge, Ohio accessible by I-70 and I-77. Seneca Dam was constructed in 1937 on the Seneca Fork of Wills Creek for the purpose of flood control. The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) owns the lake and surrounding land, and is responsible for managing conservation and recreational activities. The dam is owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
