Nestled on Lake Champlain, Apple Island Marina in South Hero, VT is the ideal place to go boating, sightseeing, and fishing.
Boat rentals are available from our wide selection of pontoon boats, pedal boats, kayaks, canoes, and row boats. Enjoy boating, fishing, birding, and relaxing on America’s sixth-largest, most beautiful freshwater lake.
The Marina offers seasonal, daily, and overnight dockage to campground guests and the public. Free parking for your trailer is available while your boat is docked in the Marina. Campground guests can store their boat on their trailer and launch them at the Marina each day (storage fees apply).
Apple Island Marina has a conveniently located fuel dock and a small store to cover your immediate boating needs. Charts, batteries, fishing supplies, ice, and non-alcoholic beverages are sold at the Marina Boathouse.
The General Store is directly across the road from the Marina if you prefer to pick up some hot coffee, juice, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries on your early excursions. Or pick up some sandwiches and salads for a hearty lunch or dinner.
Apple Island General Store provides FREE Food delivery from the Deli’s Menu. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on delivery requests. Tips are welcome.
