Family Owned and Operated Since 1969

Adventure Sports is licensed by the National Park Service and has been running trips on the Delaware River since 1969. The area is abundant with wildlife of all kinds and is rich in Native American history. The crystal clear water and many islands and beaches offer unlimited opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, hiking and picnicking. The National Park Service provides several facilities along the river equipped with dressing and changing areas, as well as areas for picnicking, volleyball, baseball, frisbee, soccer, and other group activities. We offer several different trips that vary in distance and can last from two hours to overnight, multi-day camping trips. We use only the safest and best equipment, and our rates include canoes, kayaks or rafts, life jackets, paddles, shuttle transportation, river maps, trip planning, and orientation. Special rates are available for groups of ten or more. Browse our river trips and join us for a trip today!

Just call us! Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before your trip with no penalty. You may cancel on the day of your trip (up until your arrival time) for bad weather AT OUR LOCATION. Cancellations made the same day (before your reservation time) that are not because of the weather are subject to a cancellation fee of $15 per person per day. If you do not show up and you do not call to cancel then you will be charged the full rate (we hold your boats all day just for you).

Allow pets : YES

Note : Absolutely! There are restrictions and limitations with pets We do not allow any kind of animal in our rafts, however we do allow them in our canoes and kayaks. The park service does have rules concerning pets, but they are pretty common sense rules. We will transport the dog to the start, but if you do not finish where your vehicle is we will not transport the dog back to your car after the trip (there is no such thing as a dry dog after a trip and it takes us to long to clean out the “wet dog” smell and hair left behind).  If you do not finish where your car is, then one person would need to stay with the dog and we would transport the rest of the party back up to your cars. If you are planning on a multi-day trip, taking a dog on a multi-day trip does take some careful planning.  Definitely make sure your gear is in water proof and tear proof (because the dog) bags and that you pack light to keep some room open in the canoe for the dog.
