As the commercial fishing industry was declining, Paul saw an opportunity on Hatteras Island to open a parasail operation. Paul traveled to Florida to train and came home to open his own business in 1994, Hatteras Parasail.</div> <div class="_2cuy _3dgx _2vxa">As his children have participated in the business over the years, they have taken more active roles as they have grown. Upon reaching the age of 18, Jerry, Bryant, Tori and Asa all completed and passed the merchant mariners course and received their captains license to continue the family business. At the suggestions of his kids, Paul added wave runners and boat rentals to expand the water sport business. Paul has been sidelined to maintenance and repairs to keep the business running smoothly and Maria, Paul’s wife, monitors the phones and reservation desk. Employees consist of close friends making this business a true family affair.</div> <div class="_2cuy _3dgx _2vxa">We strive to provide a family and friendly atmosphere and ensure a pleasant and fun experience with safety as the number one priority. We pride our self on our 100% safety record.</div>
