Acadia National Park is at our doorstep. Being located on Mount Desert Island (MDI) offers some of the most beautiful cruising and fishing waters along the coast of Maine. Minutes from Bar Harbor and easily accessed via Island Explorer, boat or car, Manset Yacht Service is here to meet your boating vacation needs. ​We rent our vessels by the half-day, day, week or month. Our rental fleet consists of new and nearly new 'ANGLER' brand fiberglass powerboats.  Vessels are Yamaha powered. This boat / motor combination has proven to be a great pairing. All boats are boatyard maintained and the finest quality available in the rental industry. ​Bob Brown established his company in 1991 on the shores of Manset in Southwest Harbor, Maine next to The Hinckley Company. Having boated here and in Florida waters since childhood, he got to know the business and the coastal area well. Today, Manset Yacht Service is a 2-acre facility providing powerboat rentals to visitors and locals who want the best equipment.
