Hills Point Resort offers boat rentals to guests AND offsite rentals to guests of the area! If you have your own boat, you are encouraged to bring it along for your stay. We do offer dock space at a nominal charge, your own rig will be sitting just steps away from your cabin and ready for your next adventure! The boating tradition of Les Cheneaux dates back at least 400 years; and more than a century of boating, hunting, fishing, sailing and family vacation traditions persist in Les Cheneaux! Many families continue to vacation here in cottages built by their ancestors in the late 1800's and early 1900's! The Les Cheneaux Islands' natural harbors and sheltered channels are a safe haven for sailing vessels and pleasure crafts. Throughout the summer and autumn months, sailors enjoy mooring in Government Bay, Government Island offers fine swimming beaches, camping and hiking opportunities, or take the family into Hessel for some ice cream or a beautiful evening dinner by the shore..
